Started photography in 2001 when I purchased a FinePix 4900Z (great camera). I did some basic B&W photogaphy previously, utilising friends cameras, when I could, using a mixture of Minoltas (the 7000) and a Kiev Rangefinder.I enjoy cultural theory, and I like to play with image ideas. Some won't be pretty images, but all are for a point.
The majority of my images come from my locality, (Coventry & Warwickshire) I'll try my hand at all styles of image taking, but candids, abtracts landscapes predominate, even though my commissions tend to be theatre and sports!
I work at the Centre for Media Arts and Performance, Coventry University. I have worked
in the arts and cultural industries for 30 years.
