I'm 56 years old and live in Chesterfield Derbyshire with my wife Lynn. I have two grown up children.
Recently along with my wife I took early retirement and fortunately now have time to try to become a 'proper' photographer, as opposed to a 'snapper'.
I've done the usual, bought the photography books and magazines and read them thoroughly. Sometimes though I think that I'm learning a foreign language as the words don't sink in!. But bit by bit I think I'm picking some things up!
I enjoy walking in the beautiful Peak District with a couple of friends most week-ends which offers the opportunity for great landscape photography and of course for a couple of pints of good ale afterwards! Joined: 6th March 2008
