To edit the text go to your My Profile Settings and edit the text in the About Me panel and click on Save Changes to update.

Channel 1 is for photography tutorial videos. We include videos that show you how to take pictures of all types. These are techniques and how-to guides that explain subjects such as landscape photography and portraiture. Find out how to light, how to use apertures and shutter speeds and how to control focus to improve your photography. It's also here where you will find all your digital photography and image editing techniques.
Channel 2 is where we look at camera equipment. Here you will find reviews and overviews of camera, lenses, bags, flash, tripods and accessories. You will also find how-to guides showing camera operation, lighting accessories, etc. Basically if it involves kit it's here.
Channel 3 is the showcase area. This is where photographers can upload audio visuals of their photos with music and clever fades. You will also find interviews with photographers and industry leading figures. And biographical style videos.
Channel 4 is the place to look when you are wanting to buy camera kit. We will build this up to present a range of products you can buy from our online shop.
Channel 5 Photographic camera and equipment manufacturers produce some really sexy promo videos of their kit that is shown when they launch a product. They also commission photographers to promote their kit and create videos. These often appear on retailers' sites or at exhibitions, and now here! We will show these promo videos that are created to help illustrate the benefits of the camera and accessories which you will find useful for the close up shots and key features explained.

EPHOTOzine.tv is the brainchild of Magezine Publishing, and is an extension of their succesful internet magazine ePHOTOzine. It takes the ePHOTOzine content to a new video rich level.

Back To TopHow do I add to my Playlist?
You must first create a Playlist by clicking on Make Playlist in your Profile Settings. Then view the video you want to add, choose Add to Playlist from the Tools panel (to the right) and select the relevant Playlist if you have more than one.

If you are asked to log in even when you have entered your correct username and password, make sure you have cookies enabled.
If cookies are enabled or enabling them doesn't resolve this issue, try clearing the cookies stored on your computer. This is done from Internet Options from the Windows Control Panel then select the general tab and under Browsing History click on the Delete button and then Delete Cookies. In Firefox go to Tools from the file menu, select Options, then Private Data heading and Clear Now.
Please note: this will also delete all saved settings for previously visited sites.
Now when you enter your username and password a new cookie will be created and you should be able to log in.

Click on the yellow Upload or Suggest a Video button on any page or here
This brings up two options Suggest a Video and Upload a Video. Suggest a Video lets you submit a link to a video you have found on YouTube or other video websites, while Upload a Video lets you upload a video you have created to add to ePHOTOzine TV. Click on the necessary one and complete the pop up form following the instructions on the form.

Back To TopWhat kind of videos can I upload
Any video content is welcomed providing it will interest photographers. The content should either show photographers at work (profiles), showcase their work (portfolio), or explain how the type of photography being done is achieved (techniques & tutorials). Alternatively it should be a review of a piece of equipment, a how to use guide or an overview.
We do not allow pornographic content, anything offensive or unauthorised advertising.

All the videos are Flash format so you do need a Flash player installed to play the videos. A message will appear at the top of your screen if you need to install a player. This will either be Flash or Shockwave.

This is usually caused by the speed data is reaching your computer over the Internet. A faster broadband connection will usually ensure you get smoother playing video.
It could also be your computer processing causing the problem. If you have other programs running at the same time they may all be a strain on the processor. Close all other programs when watching video and try again.

Back To TopI cannot hear any sound on a video, why?
Some videos displayed on ePHOTOzine.tv do not have sound with them. Instead, there may be subtitles or messages that pop up.
Also, make sure that your sound is turned up on your computer and speakers are plugged into the correct plug.

Back To TopWhy do I get errors when trying to register / signup?
When registering for ephotozine.tv, we do a series of checks to make sure that the username you have selected is not taken already. If an error comes back stating the the username is taken or reserved, please try a different username.
Importing ePHOTOzine accounts
We have allowed for a limited time for ePHOTOzine users to reserve their usernames on ePHOTOzine.tv. To do this go to the import page and enter your ePHOTOzine username and password.
Because of the way ePHOTOzine.tv works, we do not allow spaces or special characters in usernames. If your ePHOTOzine username has these, the import form will provide you with some suggestions and the option to select a different username.
